Shankar's update on 'Ai'

Director Shankar has been working on the Vikram and Amy Jackson starrer ‘I’ for some time. Now the director has mentioned that the film is ‘Ai’.

Shankar has mentioned that the film is 75% complete and the delay is due to Vikram’s makeup and makeover changes.

Shankar has visited the world famous Weta workshop, New Zealand and met Richard Taylor, the co-founder of Weta, other artists and technicians for the film. He compared his excitement of visiting Weta workshop to the excitement he had when he visited Winston studios for Endhiran.

Shankar stated that they did a three week shoot in Bangalore, Mysore and Chennai. Sean Foot and Davna Lamont of Hobbit, Lord of the Rings trilogy fame have done the makeup for Vikram for the movie, which is being produced by Aascar Ravichandran.
