Shooting of films begin after FEFSI strike called off

The FEFSI – Film Employees Federation of South India had announced a strike a few days ago, which affected the shooting of many films. On Tuesday, the 12th September night, the strike was called off much to the relief of everyone concerned.


According to industry sources, things have been amicably sorted out between FEFSI and Producer Council. An agreement has been signed that states that the Tamil film Producer Council will work only with the FEFSI staff.


RK Selvamani President of FEFSI says, “I am happy that the strike is called off after our talks with the Producer Council have ended on an amicable note. We have removed Technician’s Union from FEFSI as they want to operate independently”.


Now that the strike is called off, shooting of Rajinikanth’s Kaala, Imsai Arasan 24 aam Pulikesi and Vemal’s Mannar Vagera have resumed work. Also, the post production of Mersal has begun in full swing. Click the Movie button below for more info:
