Shraddha Srinath on her upcoming film Ivan Thandhiran

Shraddha Srinath who had me heads turn with her performance in the Kannada film U turn was seen in a small role in Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai. She is expecting the release of her next film Ivan Thandhiran directed by Kannan, a former associate of Mani Ratnam where her co-stars are Gautham Karthik and RJ Balaji.

Shraddha talks about her role in the film. She says, “I play a girl called Asha which is very different from the U turn character. I play a middle class girl who with her hard work and perseverance scales up the ladder in life. The story is about how the education system and politics in it affect her life.

My co-star Gautham Karthik was such a cooperative and supportive artist. Whenever I perform well in any scene, he would appreciate me. Whatever doubts I have in Tamil cinema, I would only ask RJ Balaji as he had also acted in Kaatru Veliyidai with me”. Click the Movie button below for more info:
