Ajith fresh from the success of his last release Yennai Arindhaal with Gautham Menon will start his next project with Siruthai Siva with whom he worked in Veeram. This film being his 56th is fondly called Thala 56 for all practical purposes till it is named.

The latest information we have on Thala 56 is that Shruthi Haasan is likely to be roped in as the lady lead and there are speculations that Bindu Madhavi will also come on board. As of now Santhanam is confirmed in this project and he was also seen in Veeram with Ajith.
