Shruti Haasan as special guest at Ilayaraja concert
Jan 20, 2015 JBShruti Haasan will be seen attending Ilayaraja's 1000 film celebration in Mumbai today, 20th January. She will be seen gracing the occasion in solidarity for Ilayaraja and her sister Akshara who makes her debut with Balki directorial Shamitabh.
The occasion will have Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth present as part of the commemoration. Sources mention that Shruti will be present at the event alongside her father and to cheer Ilayaraja in whose composition she made her debut as a singer at the age of 6 for her dad's Tamil film Thevar Magan. She has subsequently sung many songs under Raja.
In Shamitabh too Shruti has rendered her voice for a catchy track called Sanatta which has been praised by people. Earlier in the year Shruti has sung Joganiyan for Tevar which also was a runaway success as a romantic yet rockish kind of love ballad. Looks like 2015 is already promising to be fabulous for this stunning actress who has six releases pan India, two successful playback tracks - Joganiyan and Sannata and lots more!
