Shruti Haasan doing the titular role in Sanghamithra

Sanghamithra, a magnum opus of sorts will be directed by Sundar C under the production banner of Sri Thenandal Films. The film said to be done on a greater scale than Baahubali, will have AR Rahman as music composer. Jayam Ravi and Arya have been roped in to play the male leads.

Now, the makers have brought in Shruti Haasan in the title role of the film. Apparently, they were very happy with the career graph of Shruti who is a pan Indian star doing films in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Since she has also proved herself to be a good performer and is having a decent success rate has made the makers to choose this elder daughter of Kamal Haasan.

Shruti was recently seen in Suriya’s Singam 3 and is doing Katamarayudu, the Telugu remake of Ajith’s Veeram where her co-star is Pawan Kalyan. She also has Behan Hogi Teri in Hindi and Sabash Naidu with her dad. Click the Movie button below for more info:
