Shruti Haasan loves Kendrick Lamar's music

Mumbai: Actress Shruti Haasan is in “love” with the music of American hip-hop artiste Kendrick Lamar, who will vie for 11 prestigious golden gramophones at the upcoming 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

“Thank you Kendrick Lamar for making my 2016 so awesome! Love this man's music,” Shruti, best known for her roles in films like “Anaganaga O Dheerudu”, “7aum Arivu”, “Race Gurram” and “Ramaiya Vastavaiya”, tweeted on Tuesday.

Lamar has been nominated in categories including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Dance Recording, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Album and Best Music Video.

Shruti, daughter of renowned actor Kamal Haasan and actress Sarika, has also displayed her singing skills in some of her films like "Luck".
