Shruti Haasan threatened with murder

When it comes to celebs, although there are a lot of adulation and fan following for them, there is also a negative side to their popularity. While the majority of the fans are pretty decent and appreciate their hero/heroine’s films and works, there are a few who indulge in untoward actions that result in a lot of agony for the artists.

Shruti Haasan is one actress who is at the receiving end now. She has been harassed by a doctor from Karnataka named Guruprasad who has been sending her abusive messages in Twitter. He also went ahead when he threatened her with murder, saying that when he gets near her, he is going to kill her with a knife.

Not to take these things lightly, Shruti Haasan had complained to the Cyber Cell in Chennai on the 9th November. The police authorities are expected to take action on this and bring the perpetrator to books soon.
