Shruti Haasan to reprise Sai Pallavi's role in Premam remake

Shruti Haasan is a busy heroine who is having her feet in three film industries viz. Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. She has had a successful 2015 with her films doing good business in all the languages

The latest from her camp is that she has been roped in to do the role that actress Sai Pallavi did in the Malayalam blockbuster Premam in the Telugu remake. Premam directed by Alphonse Putharen is about three chapters of love in an young man’s life and Nivin Pauly had played the lead supported by Sai Pallavi, Madonna and Anupama Chandrasekaran.

The Telugu version will be directed by Chandoo Mondeti and the film is tentatively titled as Majnu. Shruti is much excited to be doing this role and said, “I have already started preparing for the role from the costumes to the body language to dialogue delivery”.
