Simbu appears in Coimbatore Police Station

In December 2015, Simbu drew the attention of many when his beep song which he had jammed with his friends in an informal manner got leaked and got him into a lot of trouble. Many women’s wing associations took offense to the lyrics and wanted him behind the bars.

One such association had filed a case against the star in Coimbatore police station and the actor appeared at Coimbatore Kaattoor police station yesterday along with his father T Rajendher.

The actor, who was seen with a plaster on his nose, owing to an injury on the set of his upcoming film Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, came out of the police station to address media persons. About 200-300 fans of the actor had also gathered there. Simbu maintained that he didn't think he had done anything wrong. He said, "I have answered all the questions posed at me.
