Simbu attends workshop for Mani Ratnam's film

When the announcement came regarding the inclusion of Simbu in ace director Mani Ratnam’s film, there were quite a few who were taken in by great surprise. This project, a multistarrer has Vijay Sethupathi, Jyothika, Aravind Swami, Fahadh Faasil and Aishwarya Rajesh. The film will have music by Oscar winner AR Rahman and will be filmed by cinematographer Santhosh Sivan. The film is expected to go on floors from January 2018.

Apparently, there was a workshop for the cast members and Simbu is said to have attended the same. He has also sought the blessings of the Roja director before the release of Sakka Podu Podu Raja which is his debut as a musical composer. Sakka Podu Podu Raja has actor Santhanam as the hero.

A picture of the hero with the director was released in the social media which had gone viral. Simbu very badly needs a hit as his career has not been going too well. This picture has made his fans go extremely happy.
