Simbu not interested to remake Kannada flick
Nov 8, 2013 svIt seems many young heroes have been attracted to a Kannada film called Govindaya Namaha so much so that they have decided to remake it. It was remade into Telugu as Potugadu with Manchu Manoj in the lead. There were reports that Simbu had plans to remake the film in Tamil. Simbu was associated with the Telugu version as a singer!
Interestingly both the Telugu and Tamil versions have also sought its original director Pawan Wodeyar to be part of the project. Potugadu was directed by Pawan, but for Simbu’s project he is not joining since he is busy with other commitments. It seems the project is not in the mind of the hero too. Simbu has stated, “I haven't even seen the film (Govindaya Namaha)... in fact, I don't even have dates to allot to star in new film.”
Presently Simbu is busy with Inga Enna Solludhu with Andrea Jeremiah. He has already completed Vaalu with Hansika. The film is ready for release and will be released sometime next year! His Vettai Mannan is also under production.
