Simbu says, 'Anirudh is not responsible for beep song'

The beep song continues to stay in the limelight despite many people feeling that it is certainly not important now to spend time and energy on its discussion.

The song has made Coimbatore women’s wing to lodge a complaint against Simbu and Anirudh and summons have also been issued to the duo.

Meanwhile, speaking to a television channel, Simbu went all emotional and said Anirudh played no part in it. He adds, “The song is never a part of any album or a film and it has not been released publicly. So, why should I apologize? It was stolen by someone who had leaked it. In the past too, there have been so many songs whose lyrics have belittled women but were so camouflaged and no one bothered about them. I would also like to state that Anirudh was not related to the song at all”.
