Simbu to stay away from Twitter

Social media is an important platform through which celebrities interact with their fans directly without any intermediary. This really helps the celebs to understand their fans and the general feel of the audience.

Simbu is one actor who was very active in Twitter. But yesterday, he sent a press note saying that he will stay away from the microblogger.

He says, “I am very thankful to my fans and friends who had been following me in Twitter until now. From now on, my twitter handle will be handled by my fan club authorities. I will choose to use it only if the situation demands as I feel as an artist I am bound to provide films of content and quality to my fans to rejoice and that will be my principal and primary duty. An artiste's connection to the fans is 'Quality films' and I am very confident that my fans will understand my stature on this and support me forever.
