Simran actress Kangana Ranaut reveals why she refused Sultan

While any other actress would give their right arm to work with the three big Khans of the industry, ‘Simran’ actress Kangana Ranaut has on more than one occasion made it very clear that she wouldn’t want to work with any of them.

Not many know but Kangana was even offered Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ but the gutsy actress turned down the role, which eventually went out to Anushka Sharma. The film, of course, went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2016.

Now during the promotions of her film ‘Simran’ Kangana revealed that she has no regrets about not doing the film, she said, ““I don’t regret it. My films too have done good business at the box office. Whenever you get a film like Sultan, you already know that it will be a blockbuster. When you read such scripts, you know that it would do great business, but you consciously let that go. It is not that such films turn out to be sleeper hits like ‘Queen’.”

She further stated her reasons for not doing the film, Kangana said, “Doing films with big stars have never worked in my favour, be it a film like Katti Batti or Rangoon. My films have always flopped whenever I have worked with established actors.”

Well, the girl does have a point.
