Sivakarthikeyan's Velaikkaran release postponed

Sivakarthikeyan-Mohan Raja project titled as Velaikkaran has been proceeding at a steady pace. This film is produced by RD Raja of 24 AM Studios and has Nayanthara, Sneha, Fahadh Faasil, Soori, RJ Balaji and others. Anirudh scores music for the film which has Ramji’s cinematography.

The film was scheduled to be released for Vinayakar Chaturthi. But last evening, the production team announced a change in their plans as regards the release dates of First look and the film.

The announcement states, “We are pleased to inform that our prestigious venture Velaikkaran starring Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil and others, Directed by Mohan Raja , will be released on 29th September 2017, on the request from the distributors.
