Soori says, it will be 'Thala' Diwali for him this year

Comedian Soori who celebrates his birthday today, the 27th August, is a very happy and contented man, thanks to the way his career is shaping up.

He is currently busy with projects like Paayum Puli with Vishal, Rajini Murugan with Siva Karthikeyan, Idhu Namma Aalu with Simbu, Maapla Singam with Vemal and Sundar C’s Aranmanai 2. He is also committed to two films with Vishal, Singam 3 with Suriya, Ezhil’s film, Veera Dheera Sooran and a few more.

But what is giving him utmost happiness is his film with Ajith tentatively called as Thala 56 which is slated to hit the screens for this Diwali. He says, “It has been a dream not just to me but to my entire family that I should act with Ajith. Thanks to director Siva who has made this dream of mine come true. Thala 56 which is going to release on the Diwali day will be my Thala Diwali”.
