Sridevi goes nostalgic during her Chennai promos of Mom

Sridevi who was there in Chennai yesterday, the 23rd June for the promotional activities of her upcoming film MOM looked gorgeous in her bold indigo floral patterns in a white base saree. She was last seen in the Tamil film Puli with Vijay. Mom is directed by Ravi Udyavar and produced by her husband Boney Kapoor. The other highlight of the film is that AR Rahman composes the music.

Sridevi, began her speech on an emotional note when she said, “Tamil cinema has given me so much love and support. I will never forget that. It gives me immense pleasure to meet you all.” Talking about the film, she said, “It is an emotional family drama between a mother and her teenage daughters, and has a universal appeal to it. Also, being a mom of two daughters, I could relate to my character. I have dubbed myself for the Tamil version as well. “

On Rahman composing for MOM, she said, “Finally, my dream of working with Rahman has come true! Right from the start of the film, Ravi and I wanted only Rahman to come on board, since only he could do justice with his soulful music. Now, I feel I am blessed.
