Sridevi teams up with Balu Mahendra's son

Sridevi, who made a successful comeback with English Vinglish, will soon be doing a project with veteran cinematographer and director Balu Mahendra’s son Shanky. She has teamed up with him for a documentary. The documentary is meant for a social awareness programme in the US. It is said that even Hollywood biggies are pitching in with their support for her.

It is reported that Sridevi went nostalgic while working on the project. She remembered her association with Balu Mahendra and the film Moondram Pirai. She expressed her happiness to associate with Shanky in the project since he is her mentor’s son. Incidentally, Sridevi’s cousin Maheshwari has done the styling for her for this documentary.
