Sriya ready for item numbers

My figure is perfect for item songs and that is why I accepted to do them. I don't have any regrets," said Sriya Saran, the glamourous girl who paired opposite Rajnikanth in Sivaji. After a successful start to her career as heroine, Sriya is now doing a few small budget flicks in Telugu. And it seems this is reason for the girl to opt herself to be dancer for item songs. It has to be remembered that item dancer’s a very big hit with Telugu audience.

"My career is not yet over. An actress should not allow herself to be slotted into any one particular image," said Sriya while denying that doing item numbers has spoilt her career.

Presently Sriya is working with Nagarjuna for their family film Manam, which has three generations of Akkineni family. Apart from Nag, it has ANR and Naga Chaitanya.
