Star Group takes over MAA!

Popular Television Corporate Giant, Star India had taken over MAA TV foraying in to Telugu market. Star India will be taking over the content management of MAA very soon. This was announced by MAA TV owners Nimmagadda Prasad, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna a short while ago in a press conference.

MAA is the Leading Entertainment Channel Group in Telugu. The details of the deal is not revealed. However they say the deal is confined only to broadcast business and the currently management and promotors will continue with the Channel. After getting the required permissions from Regulator, MAA brand will be changed to Star.
