Kerala Film Awards: Jayasurya Best Actor, Anna Ben Best Actress

Jayasurya and Anna Ben have been adjudged the Best Actor and Actress in the 51st Kerala State Film Awards, which were announced today. Jayasurya bagged the honour for his stupendous performance as a drunkard in 'Vellam' while Anna got the award for portraying the naive girl in 'Kappela'.

Sidharth Siva is the Best Director for the film 'Ennivar'. Jeo Baby-directed 'The Great Indian Kitchen' is the Best Film. The Second Best Film is 'Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam', directed by Senna Hegde. The late director Sachy's 'Ayyappanum Koshyium' won the Best Popular Film Award. Jeo Baby is the Best Scriptwriter.

Sudheesh won the Best Supporting Actor Award ('Ennivar' and 'Bhoomiyile Manohara Swakaryam') and Sreerekha won the Best Supporting Actress Award ('Veyil'). Muhammed Mustafa is the Best Debutant Director ('Kappela').
