Statue for Anushka planned

Tamil Nadu, by now is used to the idea and implementation of statues and temples for actors and actresses. Kushboo started the trend many years ago and there were talks about temple for Hansika but the actress’s strict NO has resulted in the change of plans for her fans.

In the film Soodhu Kavvum, the character played by Bobby Simha was sent out from his home and village as he had built a statue for his dream girl Nayanthara. Now this film is being made in Telugu as Gaddam Gang in which Dr Rajasekar will be reprising in Telugu the role played by Vijay Sethupathi in the Tamil version.

In the Telugu version the makers are planning to have a statue built for Anushka who is very popular in Telugu films. The permission is sought from the actress who would be replying to the unit after considering her family astrologer. Debutant Santhosh directs the film and Rajasekar’s wife produces Gaddam Gang.
