Suchitra lodges complaint with Chennai Police Commissioner
May 15, 2017 JBSinger cum actor Suchitra Karthik Kumar was in the news a few months ago for many unsavory remarks, tweets and videos on film celebs from her Twitter account. Later it was declared that her account was hacked and her husband Karthik Kumar issued a statement that said that the actress was going through some kind of mental disturbance.
On Saturday, the 13th May, Suchitra filed a fresh complaint with the police commissioner seeking action against those who created fake accounts in her name and spread malicious rumors. Her complaint read, “On March 2, my Twitter account was hacked and highly compromising images, videos and comments about celebrities from the film industry were tweeted. Threats of future releases were also tweeted. I was unwell at the time and was not able to deactivate my account.
My husband, Karthik Kumar, got the account deactivated by getting in touch with the head of Twitter India. Immediately, 40-50 ghost accounts sprung up, claiming to be my temporary accounts circulating all the content again with the hashtags ‘#leelai’ and ‘#suchileaks’. There are as many as 40-50 more such pages. Please take action against those who spread the false information”.
