Suresh Gopi, Jayaraj team up for ‘Oru Perumgaliyattam'

Actor Suresh Gopi is joining hands with director Jayaraj for the film ‘Oru Perumgaliyattam,’ which tells a tale in the backdrop of Theyyam, a traditional art form in North Malabar. The actor will play the character Peruvannan in the film, which has already started rolling.

The actor and the director teamed up for the 1997 film ‘Kaliyattam,’ which fetched the National Award for the Best Actor for Suresh Gopi. Meanwhile, ‘Oru Perumgaliyattam’ is not the sequel of ‘Kaliyattam.’

The flick will also feature Shine Tom Chacko, Anaswara Rajan and BS Avinash of ‘KGF-Chapter 2’ fame. The movie is being produced by Yoodlee Films.

Apart from 'Kaliyattam,' Suresh Gopi has acted in a few films helmed by Jayaraj, including 'Highway', ‘Ashwaroodan,’ ‘Adbutham,’ ‘Millennium Stars,’ ‘Thalolam,’ and ‘Paithrukam.’ Click the Movie button below for more info:
