Suriya joins twitter

Social networking platforms have changed the perception about celebrities and have brought them very closer to common populace. There are many celebrities who have taken to social networking platforms to interact with their fans and get instant feedback and updates.

However, Suriya had kept away from these for a long time. Some time back there was a rumor saying that he had joined twitter but later he came out and refuted the same.

But on March 8th, on the International Women’s Day the Singam hero joined the microblogger with a video and a tweet that said, “My fans.. my well wishers.. here I'm with you..! Thank you & love you all! http://youtu.be/XKQTgp4sdqw”. Expectedly, fans who have been waiting, immediately started following and there have been more than 1300 favorited it and 1000 RTS. He also announced the title of his production venture that marks his wife Jyotika’s re-entry into films as 36 Vayadhinilae.
