Suriya reaches 1 million followers in Twitter

Social media is a powerful tool that helps the celebs to connect with their fans. It also helps the stars to know the first hand pulse about their films and the general feel of the audience.

Suriya who has started his Twitter account last year has recently acquired 1 million followers in his microblogger. He is one of the few actors in social media to enjoy this status. Very few others like Rajinikanth, Dhanush, and Simbu have gained more than a million followers on their microblogger. He seemed to have surpassed actors Vijay and Kamal Haasan who are still under the one million mark.

Suriya has been using his Twitter handle to share important information regarding his films and social issues. His last release was 24 and the actor is busy with Hari’s Singam 3 now.
