Suriya reveals about his character in Masss

Suriya’s next film Masss directed by Venkat Prabhu is slated for May end release. The film features Nayanthara, Pranitha Subhash, Premji, Parthiban, Samuthirakani and others. Recently the entire team of Masss met the press in a cheerful gathering. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for Masss.

Talking about the film and his character, Suriya says, “I play double roles called Maasilamani and Shakthi. Maasilamani’s short form is only Masss. He wants to make it big but takes only the short route. What happens when he takes this wrong route is the film about”.

On Venkat Prabhu, Suriya says it was fun and a different experience to have worked with him. He adds, “I should have teamed with Venkat Prabhu a long while ago but it did not happen. But all the same we used to share ideas. Masss was in fact bourne out of such idea only. Both me and Venkat have never attempted such s new turf and we hope the audience loves it”.
