Suriya's Singam 3 to begin from December 2

Singam directed by Hari was a blockbuster hit and he followed it up with a sequel Singam 2 which again recorded huge success. The film featured Suriya as the honest cop who went around removing anti social elements from the society. The franchise also has all the commercial elements in the form of romance, action, sentiment, family values and was liked by the audience.

Encouraged by the response, Suriya will be doing the third part also under Hari’s direction. The film will feature Anushka and some of the characters from the previous versions. Latest addition will be Shruti Haasan who had earlier worked with Suriya in 7Aum Arivu.

Anirudh will be the music director of the film and it is scheduled to start from the December 2nd. The unit informs that the film will begin its shoot from Vizag. Suriya has completed his film 24 with Vikram Kumar and is sporting a handlebar moustache.
