Sushant Singh Rajput has started gearing up for his role in Viki Rajani's 'Chanda Mama Door Ke’, which is dubbed as India’s first space adventure film.

To prep for this challenging role, Sushant will be heading to The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). NASA is a United States government agency that looks after the science and technology related to air and space.

Sushant will start his training from 21st July and will train for 3 days at the centre. During the program Sushant will explore training in a spacesuit (designed by John Palmer), practice the moonwalk and experience zero gravity. Apart from all that he will also learn to dock the shuttle to the ISS, fly a space shuttle simulator and will be trained in other simulation programmes at NASA. Interesting, isn’t it?

While praising Sushant, director Sanjay Puran Singh said, “Sushant Singh Rajput is extremely dedicated and goes above and beyond as an actor. His relentless efforts to hone his craft and vigorous dedication are very rare. Filming a space odyssey is a challenge in itself. Sushant is just making it easier for me.”

The film is scheduled to release in 2018.
