Swati case gets made into a Tamil film

Swati, a young techie was murdered brutally in the morning hours of the busy Nungambakkam railway station last year in Chennai. The incident shook the entire state. Later, investigations revealed that Ramkumar who was said to be stalking the girl had killed her as she did not encourage his advances. Ramkumar was also brought to the books, but he later committed suicide in the jail.


Now this gruesome incident is being made into a film called Swati Kolai Vazhakku which is directed by SD Ramesh who had earlier directed Arun Vijay in Jananam. The film is produced by Subbaiah and the roles of Swati and Ramkumar have been essayed by Aayira and Mano respectively. Ajmal of Ko and Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru fame will be the inspector who is investigating this case. The trailer of the film was released recently which grabbed quite a few eyeballs.


However, father of Swati had submitted a petition to the police to ban this film as prior permission was not obtained by the makers. Click the Movie button below for more info:
