T G Ravi to be Mammootty's villain

T G Ravi plays the villain in Renjith Sankar’s new movie ‘Varsham’. He does a full length character as Manavalan Peter. Mammootty plays the lead role as Venu.

Both Venu and Manavalan Peter are businessmen. Manavalan is a big businessman, while Venu’s business is mediocre. ‘Varsham’ narrates the rivalry between these two.

The movie deals with five different stages in the life of Venu. T G Ravi is seen as a villain after many years. He has done a notable role in Renjith Sankar’s last outing ‘Punnyalan Agarbathies’.

‘Varsham’ is expected to start rolling from July 20 and to be released in October. Play House will do the distribution of the movie. There are two heroines in this film.

‘Varsham’ is produced jointly by Renjith Sankar’s Dreams and Beyonds and Mammootty's Play House. Sujith Vasudev is in charge of photography and the music is set by Bijibal.
