T Rajendher files a complaint with Police Commissioner

Beep song is the latest hot topic which is attracting more attention than the flood victims these days. The song in the YouTube is allegedly sung by Simbu to the tunes of Anirudh. This has attracted the ire of many people especially women who feel that the lyrics are very demeaning. There is also case filed against Simbu and Anirudh by a women’s group in Coimbatore who demand the arrest of the two young men.

In response to all these, Simbu’s father has complained to the Police Commissioner, which states, “The music track which was uploaded in the YouTube and circulated widely is a rough composed song with dummy words without proper lyrics along with some interpolated words which were not used by my son or the composer at the time of composing the said music.

I respectfully submit that the said music or track had not been utilized in any of the films or private albums or properly recorded in a manner as the same has to be recorded as a song. Similarly the said music track had never been officially released either by my son or by the composer”.
