Taapsee, Bhumi join ‘Saand Ki Aankh' shoot

Actresses Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar started shooting for their upcoming film ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Taapsee on Wednesday tweeted an image from the film and captioned it: "Jai mata di. Let's shoot."

Bhumi shared the same photograph and wrote: "Jai Mata Di. Let's shoot 'Saand Ki Aankh'... coming soon."

The film is based on old sharpshooters - Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar. Chandro, 87, and Prakashi, 82, are from Uttar Pradesh's Johri village and reportedly took up sharpshooting in their 50s. Chandro, who is fondly called shooter 'dadi' is among the world's oldest female sharpshooters.

Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the movie also features Prakash Jha and Vicky Kadian in key roles.
