Taapsee to play a cop in Selvaraghavan film

Director Selvaraghavan after a brief sabbatical has started his next project which is said to be titled as Kaan meaning forest. The film has Arvind Krishna as cinematographer and Yuvan Shankar Raja as music composer.

Trisha was originally roped in but later she walked out of the film citing date issues. Catherine Tresa of Madras fame has been roped in to replace Trisha.

The recent update on the film is that the other heroine Taapsee will be playing a cop role in Kaan which has Simbu as the hero. She is said to play a police officer role in the film. It is also reported that the film will have high octane actions sequences for which Taapsee will be getting trained. Looks like an interesting venture!
