Tamannaah clarifies her take on Baahubali 2 climax

Tamannaah had a significant portion in Baahubali 1 and her role as warrior Avanthika was appreciated. But she was conspicuous by her absence in the Baahubali 2 promotions. It was also reported that she had said that she was the reason for the climax of Baahubali 2, but when the film was released, people realized that she just appears in the film for a few minutes and started trolling her.

Clarifying about all these, the Thozha actress says, “I never said I am the climax, I only said that I am in the climax portion, and I am being misquoted in the interviews”.

About not being present for the promotions, she states, “Since my role is only towards the climax for the second version, naturally I’ll be given importance as per my role. I have attended all the promotional events where I have been asked to by the filmmakers. I have great regard for them and thank them for all their support.
