Tamannaah in Pelli Choopulu remake

Pelli Choopulu, the Telugu film what was released in July 2016 had received a massive positive response. It was a romantic comedy written and directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and produced by Raj Kandukuri and Yash Ranginen featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma in the lead roles.

The remake rights of the film were bought by director Gautham Menon and since then there were many speculations as to who is going to be the hero and heroine and also the director.

Finally, the man himself, Gautham Menon announced that he will be producing it and not directing as he already has two projects in his kitty. The film will be directed by Gautham Menon’s associate Senthil Veerasamy who had earlier produced Rajathandhiram. Gautham has announced that Tamannaah will be the heroine but the search is on for the hero but it will be a new face for sure.
