Tamannah replaces Shruti Haasan

Shruti Haasan was in the news last week for not honoring her commitment to feature in a bilingual starring Karthi and Nagarjuna, to be produced by PVP Films and directed by Vamsi Paidipally. The production house served her legal notice and also filed a case banning her from signing any new film.

While this was on, Tamannah has been brought on board to replace Shruti Haasan. Tamannah is a known face both in Tamil and Telugu and enjoys a good fan base and hence the decision to bring her in has been made.

Sources say that the Paiyya girl has indeed been approached for the film and that she is working out the dates to sign on the dotted lines. But, mostly, the slim heroine, will do the film. Tamannah has already worked with Karthi in Paiyaa and Siruthai and this would be her third film with the actor.
