Prasanna in 'Chappa Kurisu' remake

Malayalam block buster ‘Chappa Kurisu’ is being remade in Tamil. According to latest reports, the film will have Prasanna in the lead along with the original leading lady Remya Nambeesan.

Titled as ‘Pulival’ the film will also have Vemal, Ananya and Iniya in other important roles. It is being said that Swarnamalya will be playing a crucial character in the film. This will be her comeback film after a gap.

Chappa Kurisu is said to be inspired by 21 Grams and the film was an instant hit among the audience and critics in Kerala. The film, in a way has become a trend-setter for new generation directors in Malayalam. It gave its lead actors -Remya Nambeesan and Faisal instant fame. The film Pulival is likely to hit the screens in December.
