A sequel to Mundhanai Mudichu

Bhagyaraj and Urvashi starrer Mundhanai Mudichu is a super hit of yesteryear. Now, a sequel for the same is getting ready. Director Sriram Padmanabhan is busy in the shooting the sequel which is titled as Mappillai Vinayagar.

He said that the film takes off from where the first part finished. The story is focussed on Vaathiyar and Parimalam’s son and the question is will they get married or not. Both Bhagyaraj and Urvasi are reprising their earlier roles in the film.

Jeeva and Rashmi Gautham are in the lead. Santhanam, Pandiarajan and Singamuthu are also part of the cast.

Sriram Padmanabhan had earlier directed the film Doo.
