After Pizza it's Jigarthanda

Karthik Subbaraj who directed Pizza has started shooting for his next with Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in the lead. The upcoming film has been titled Jigarthanda. The shoot of the film is going on in Madurai. Santosh Narayanan scores the music for the film.

Karthik tweeted, “My second feature film Jigarthanda shooting starts today in Madurai. Need all your blessings and wishes friends.”

The hero of the film Siddharth has tweeted: “Starting my 20th feature film as an actor today in Madurai, Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda.”

Jigarthanda is a cold beverage and has its origin in Madurai. Kathiresan who made films like Polladhavan and Aadukalam is producing Jigarthanda.
