AR Rahman's son regales all

The eight-day annual Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) started in Chennai on Dec 13 evening. CIFF is being organised by Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation along with the support of TN State government. The festival will screen 150 films from 57 countries.

KT Rajendhra Balaji, State Minister for information (special programme implementation) inaugurated the festival. Students of K M Conservatory School presented a cultural show on the inauguration.

The highlight of event was the performance of Ameen, AR Rahman’s son in piano. The young boy enthralled the audience with his Minuet in G Minor by JS Bach. It has to be noted that this was Ameen’s debut solo piano performance.

Notable celebrities like Sarath Kumar, Suhasini, Ameer and Varalakshmi were spotted on the occasion.
