Court orders to produce Anjali on July 9

Jul 5, 2013 SV

The Madras High Court has asked the Chennai Police to produce actress Anjali before the Court on July 9. In last April, Anjali was in the news for her alleged break up with her step mother, Bharathi Devi. She went missing and later appeared before the Hyderabad Police. Anjali had complained that she was being exploited by her step mom. Later they patched up and Anjali started shooting for her projects.

Her step-mother had filed a Habeas Corpus case in the Madras High Court and when the same came in for hearing, Bharathi Devi’s advocate argued that Anjali is in the custody of some bad people and they have been prompting her to speak bad about her step mother.

On this, the Court has ordered the Chennai police to produce the actress before the Court on July 9.
