David is U/A

Bejoy Nambiar's David starring Vikram and Jiiva has been certified U/A certificate today.

It is heard that the film was about to get an "A" certificate. But after the director Bejoy Nambiar requested the censors and readily agreed to remove objectionable scenes, the film has been given U/A. It has to be recalled that if a film is certified A, the film cannot be shown in television and hence the director was ready for the removal of the scenes. David is releasing in Tamil and Hindi on February 1st.

This is Bejoy Nambiar’s second film after Shaitan in Hindi. The director is a former associate of Mani Ratnam. Anirudh Ravichandran has composed a song for the film.
