Dhanush's next is Naiyaandi

Dhanush is all set to do director Sarkunam’s film. The film was earlier titled Sotta Vazha Kutty, but now the makers have decided to title it Naiyaandi. The film, a commercial entertainer will be about the love between a boy who makes lamps and a girl who is a student of dental medicine.

In a statement Sarkunam has said that the heroine for the film will be decided soon. The film will star Suri, Sathyan and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan among others. M. Gibran will score the music and R Velraj will crank the camera. S Kathiresan is producing the film under the Five Star Films Pvt Ltd Banner. The film will go on the floors in February.

In the meantime, there’s a buzz that the makers of the film has approached Malayali actress Nazriya Nazim to be cast opposite Dhanush. However, an official statement on this is yet to come.
