Director Rasu Madhuravan passes away

Director Rasu Madhuravan passed away in Chennai on July 9. He was suffering from throat cancer and was under treatment. Rasu Madhuravan started his film career as an assistant to late director Manivannan and later on directed films like Pandi Oliperukki Nilayam, Mayandi Kudumbathar and Goripalayam. His last directorial venture Sogusu Perunthu is almost ready and is in the final stages of post production.

He was 44 years and is survived by his wife and two daughters. His body will be cremated in his native place near Madurai.
