Director's Association thanks Jayalalithaa

Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association (TANTIS) has thanked J Jayalalithaa, Tamil Nadu CM for her bold steps against the Central Government on the Sri Lankan issue. The association thanked CM for her letter to the union government in which stressed that Sri Lankan players should not participate in the Chennai IPL and also for CM's speech for getting back Kachadheevu legally. The Association in a statement also condemned the Central Government's lethargic attitude in Sri Lankan Tamil issue.

Earlier the association along with several other film association members has observed a fast to highlight the Sri Lankan issue. The members of Nadigar Sangam will observe fast on April 2 for the Sri Lankan issue, in which leading actors will be participating. Actor Ajith has announced that he will be part of the fast.
