Gautham Menon alleges harassment by Elred Kumar

Director Gautham Menon and Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment were friends, and together they have made some great movies. However their friendship no longer exists and recently Elred Kumar filed a case against Gautham Menon, for allegedly taking an advance of about four crores and not directing a film as promised. He has gone to the court demanding that Gautham be stopped from directing films and the amount with interest be paid back.

Recently Gautham, in an official statement, has said that the injunction petition has been dismissed by the courts. Gautham stated: “My ability to work and earn for myself is my birth right and as the law says it’s my constitutional right-and no one should be able to take that away from me.”

Gautham alleges that Elred Kumar has been harassing him. He also said that it’s the choice of a senior technician for the recent film, Neethane Enn Ponvasantham (NEP) that made Elred angry. Elred felt that this choice of Gautham made the film a very costly one and the film did not do well too.

Gautham ended his plea saying - “Please assist me and free me from the harassment of Mr. Elred.”
