Jilla shoot to start in Madurai

Vijay's Jilla will start shooting from May second week and the team is working on the first look posters of the movie. The film has Mohanlal, Kajal, Mahat, Soori, Thambi Ramaiah, Nivedita Thomas in important roles. It is heard that in the first leg of shooting Vijay will not be there, but Kajal and Mohal Lal will be part of the shoot. Vijay is expected to join the shooting by June 3.

The buzz in the industry is that Vijay will essay the character of Shakthi and people will address him as 'Jilla', which means head/leader in the Madurai circle.

Debutant Nesan directs the film and Imman composes the music. RB Chowdry produces the film.
