Kalanjiyam threatens to sue Anjali

Actress Anjali has recently alleged that she is being harassed by her step mom and director Kalanjiyam. The director along with his lawyer met the Chennai City Police Commissioner and said that Anjali's charges are baseless. He said that as he had introduced Anjali in his film Sathamindri Muthamidu, he knew her family. He added that he is just a well-wisher and her family used to consult him before signing new films.

He denied the charges levelled by Anjali and said that as he has been blamed unnecessarily, he might file a defamation case against her.

Anjali is the heroine of Kalanjiyam’s Oor Sutri Puranam and while she was shooting for the film had suffered an electric shock. Anjali had alleged that despite the electric shock, her mom didn't allow her to take proper treatment and tortured her by asking to continue the shoot.
